BOB BLACKSTONE - Such a Wonderful Man. Sadly passed away on the 19th August 2006.
He had just had his 51st birthday on July 22nd. He was diagnosed with Lung Cancer which had spread
to his brain. Bob was a Police Officer serving in the Met for 30 years. He served at Hayes Police
Station before going on to become a detective..He began riding a motorbike and went on to be one of
the best undercover motorcylist's in the Met. He will be sadly missed by his family and
friends. Leaving behind his wife, children and grandchildren.
We had only 10 weeks from diagnosis, such a very short time to try and understand what was happening
let alone begin to accept it all. Bob was such a Wonderful Husband, Dad, Grandad, Brother, Son,
Uncle and friend and was taken away from us much too soon. We all love and miss him so very much.
We miss you so much Dad...Keep looking after Mum
We love You x x x x
God saw you getting tired,
a cure was not meant to be.
so he put his arms around you,
and whispered 'come with me'.
with broken hearts we loved you,
as we watched you pass away.
although we loved you dearly,
we could not make you stay.
your golden heart stopped beating,
hard working hands at rest.
god took you up to heaven,
to prove he only takes the best.
Bob was my best friend in the whole world. He was my happiness, my smile, my warmth in life. My best
friend, my soulmate. He would do anything for me. I was his princess. He adored me and I adored
him. He was happy, if I was happy. We knew that we had a special relationship. One that was envied
by many. We would always thank God for all the good things we had in life, we knew we were lucky, we
never took that for granted.
Bob was taken away from us so quickly, we hardly had time to come to terms with his illness, before
he closed his eyes and said goodbye.
The light in my life has gone out and in its place there is a deep, deep sadness. Bob was one in
million, quiet, undemanding, strong and fair. He was generous and caring and always there to lend a
helping hand when called upon. I will miss him forever. I will love him for eternity. My life will
never be the same without him.
All My Love .... from Your Poppet X X X
I know I have died
I know that you grieve
But the pain that you feel
In time will recede
But the memories you have
Of our time spent together
Will last you a life time
Will last you forever
So please don't be sad
At my moment of passing
For you know that I now
Have life everlasting.
♥ღ♥ Gods loving arms enfolded you,
with tender loving care,
He saw that you were suffering
as you laid in silence there,
He said the time has come
for you to take a rest,
He held you in his arms and said,
I ONLY TAKE THE BEST ♥ღ♥
Sending love as always Andrea xxx
You may not have ever seen me
But you know that I am here.
You can feel me in your heart
As you enter each new day.
I will always be there for you
I am your friend.
Someone to share the good times
As well as the bad.
I make no judgments by what you say
I just listen with my heart and
Hope to be of help in anyway I can.
I will be there for you now and forever
And always please remember
I am your friend!
Dad... I feel so so sad at the moment.
Having a bit of a hard time, it's all my own doing but it doesn't mean I can't feel rubbish about it. .. sometimes wish I could click my fingers and disappear from all the crap thats thrown my way.
Why do some people have no care for anyone but themselves? I help people out, I make sure they're OK.... in fact I go out of my way to help people.... it's just a bit sad when I need help or a favour in return it's a no go.
I suppose you know all the answers to these questions now don't you? ... Maybe it will teach me a hard lesson that I need to undersatnd before I can go any further with my life.
I hope that you still keep a watchful eye on me Dad .... I'd be even sadder if I thought every time I speak to you that you couldn't actually hear me.
I talk to you all the time ..... I haven't been up to the cemetry for ages, last time I went I couldn't feel you there, it made me feel awful.
Please don't go too far .... I still need you.
All my love Dad ..... Big Hugs

I miss you Dad .... more than any words here can describe.
I miss your smile...your voice...your laugh .... your jokes....your whistling ..... I just miss you.
I love you so very very much, forever and always

Miss me but let me go
When it comes to the end of road
and the sun has set for me.
I want no tears in a gloom filled room,
why cry for a soul set free.
Miss me a little but not too long
and not with your heads bowed low.
Remember the love that we once shared,
Miss me but let me go
For this is a journey we all must take
and each must go it alone.
It’s all apart of the master plan,
a step on the road to home.
When you are lonely and sick at heart,
go to the friend that we used to know
and bury your sorrows in doing good works.
Miss me but let me go.
Perhaps if we could see the splendours
of the land to which our loved ones are called
from you and me, we’d understand.
Perhaps if we could hear the welcome
they receive, from old familiar voices
all so dear, we would not grieve.
Perhaps if we could know the reason why
they went, then we’d smile and wipe away
the tears that flow, we’d wait content.
WISHING YOU A PEACEFUL CHRISTMAS
MY CHRISTMAS PRAYERS
FOR ALL OUR ANGELS
Dear Lord, I pray for those that have crossed over that they find peace, happiness, joy and wisdom. Keep them in the Light, Lord, but give them the freedom to give their beloved wonderful signs that they are near and that they are okay, happy and in a beautiful place. I ask that You would help them along this new and exciting journey that awaits them.
FOR ALL MY GRIEVING FRIENDS AND THEIR FAMILIES
Dear Heavenly Father,
Please be with all my friends and their families this Christmas here, who are struggling with the loss of their loved ones. Please give them comfort, assure them that their loved ones are always near them. Even though they are no longer in physical form, they are still involved in their lives.
Let my friends know that they are never alone. Assure them that those who have passed on before us are never that far away. Our loved ones are here: they watch over us, they protect us, they still love us.
Oh Lord, assure my grieving friends that the love bonds we form in this life continue on the other side. Those we love are here, just out of view. They are guiding us, helping us to not be so lonely, depressed, or lost. We are never alone.
Let my friends and their families know that they can still talk to their spouse, child, sister, brother, grandparent or friend. That they do hear them. I pray that my friends find comfort in knowing that death is not the end, but a beginning of a new and exciting life, full of wonder and wisdom. And that one fine day…they will be reunited.
Be with my friends this Christmas, Lord. Give them peace and ease their pain. Let Your love overwhelm them, heal them and strengthen them. Envelope them with your magnificent wings and heal their broken hearts.
Bless them, Lord, and when they are ready, in their own time, bring joy back in to their lives. Assure them, though hard to believe now, there will, once again, be joy.
With love and in Jesus’ Name I Pray,
Amen

A Letter From Heaven
To those we love,
Since we parted, you have been sharing so much of us with those around you. The memories are so fresh and real. You hold on to us so tightly in your hearts - where we shall always be.
Your concern has always been for us, but we wonder how you are doing. You will never know all of the prayers that have been prayed for you, the tears that have been shed over your grief and the concern that has been shown for you in a multitude of ways, but we find it so comforting to know you haven't been left alone.
Please know that we are not alone, either. The death that hurt you the most has given me the gift of eternal life. God's promises have been fulfilled in us. When we left you, God was there, waiting, just as He promised. We're surrounded by perfect love. Never let anyone tell you God doesn't exist. If you need to be mad at Him for awhile, that's okay; He can handle it. But never let hate, anger or bitterness fuel you emotions. Talk to Him and let him talk to you. Listen for Him in the voices of the people who love and care about you, and let His Word reassure you that we are doing just fine.
It is comforting to know that you hold us so close while struggling with the prospect of letting us go. You need to know that we will always be together. Eternity is not 'out there,' eternity is now! We have simply moved a little farther ahead of you.
Remember that God never wastes anything - especially love. The love that we shared on earth will be even greater in Heaven. For now, you must rest assured that we are safe in God's perfect love. We would like you to take some of the love you have for us and share it with those around you. You can never run out of love - the more you give away, the more you will have. And let others love you . you are worth loving.
Life is forever. Ours has changed in the twinkling of an eye while yours is changing day-by-day and minute-by-minute. Though your lives will never be the same, that does not mean that they cannot be filled with peace, joy and love. Always look to the future. Don't be afraid of tomorrow - God's already there. Be patient with yourselves. You will make some mistakes, and you will even find yourselves not thinking about 'us' from time to time. That's all right too. All of our needs are being met; you need to take care of you. Hold onto one another, help each other, give hope and love to all you meet.
Above all, be prepared to welcome others into your world of grief and mourning. You are being taught valuable lessons that will need to be passed along. Some will not have your strength, many will not have your faith, and most will feel they are all alone; but all will need the love and understanding only you will be able to give. Now, your pain is the only credential you need to minister to others. When you think of us, never think of us as being alone. Think of us smiling, laughing and enjoying all that god has prepared for us.
Finally, never believe you are alone. Do not focus on what you have lost, but look always at what you have left. You are surrounded by people who love you and care about you. Live with them, love with them, share with them and laugh with them. Make every day a celebration of life - a life that will never end. We will meet again, and until we do, know that we are very proud of you for never giving up.
We love you!
Your Loved Ones In Heaven

Think of me and know Iam with you,
Think of me and smile.
Think of me and know that our parting
Is only for a while.
On the days that you feel desperate
To see my smiling face,
Just believe in your heart Iam with you
And that i'm in a beautiful place.
So think of me and remember,
All the memories in your heart,
And believe and know that this is true,
We are never really apart.
